WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Patrick Storie scored 26 points, including a 3-pointer with five seconds left, to lead the Mount Greylock boys basketball team to a 57-55 win over Wahconah on Thursday night.
"We defended them on their last shot to win a really exciting game," Mount Greylock coach Bob Thistle said. "I'm really proud of the kids. It was a big win for our team.
Sam Dils scored nine for the Mounties (5-3), who notched their second narrow win of the week. On Monday, Mount Greylock beat Monument Mountain, 57-56.
On Thursday night, Wahconah entered the fourth quarter ahead, 45-38. But Storie scored 10 points in the quarter to key the comeback.
Luke Steinman scored 17, and Cole Morrison added 16 for Wahconah (4-5), which travels to Lenox on Monday.
Mount Greylock will look for its third win in a row on Saturday night against Hoosac Valley.
