"Abby Wade made a great pass to Abby Dohone,y and she ripped the cords as the buzzer sounded. We are definitely showing some great signs of playing together both offensively and defensively. They are a very resilient group."
The Spartans (4-10) trailed, 36-29, going into the fourth quarter.
Dohoney's late bucket gave her 13 points on the night. Natalie Lewis led Monument Mountain's offense with 13, and Maya Valasco added eight.
Mackenzie Ullrich had 18 points to lead all scorers for Mount Everett, which got 15 from Emma Goewey.
The Eagles (2-13) host Taconic on Saturday.
