GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Natalie Lewis scored 18 points to lead the Monument Mountain girls basketball team to a 43-28 win over Mount Greylock as the Spartans finished the year with three wins in their last four games.

Abby Dohoney scored nine points, including six in the pivotal third quarter, when the Spartans outscored the Mounties, 16-2 to open a 39-22 lead.

"It was a great team effort, especially on the defensive end of the floor," Monument Mountain coach Randy Koldys said. "It was a great way to send off our only senior Abby Wade. I am really proud of the way this team stuck together and continually worked hard every day to get better."

Emily Mead scored six for the Spartans (5-13).

Mount Greylock (9-11) got 14 points from Delaney Babcock and five apiece from Charlotte Coody and Abby Scialabba.
