SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Olivia Marion scored 12 points Saturday to lead the South Hadley girls basketball team to a 50-32 win over Drury.

“Foul trouble plagued us the entire game,” Drury coach Ian Downey said. “Kayla [McGrath] and Jacinta [Felix] were out early in the first half. They were able to push their lead up with them off the floor and we never recovered. Kayla got her fourth early in the fourth which is too bad. We feed off of her energy and, unfortunately, foul trouble negated that.”

McGrath scored seven points to lead Drury’s offense. Alyssa Russell and Ellie Harnick added five points apiece.

South Hadley’s Marion scored eight points in the third quarter, when the Tigers outscored the Blue Devils, 19-8, to extend an 11-point half-time lead.

Drury (8-6) goes to Springfield International Charter on Tuesday.
