LENOX, Mass. – Chloe Pasenios scored 11 points Monday to lead the Lenox girls basketball team to a 39-34 win over Drury.

Jocelyn Fairfield scored eight points, and Alvia Mauer added six in the defensive struggle.

“Ultimately, we had too many empty possessions because of turnovers,” Drury coach Ian Downey said. “The bright spot was our defense kept us in the game. I thought we did a great job preventing them from getting good shots. We also didn’t rebound as well as we normally do, which hurt us getting out into our transition.”

Jacinta Felix scored nine points to lead the Blue devils. Alyssa Russell scored eight despite missing most of the first half with early foul trouble.

Drury (6-7) hosts South Hadley on Thursday.

Lenox (8-4) hosts Frontier on Tuesday.
