Garvey Scores 30 as Pittsfield Tops Drury

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Alexis Garvey scored 22 of her 30 points in the second half on Tuesday as the Pittsfield girls basketball team held off a Drury comeback for a 65-57 win.
 
The Blue Devils trailed by nine going into the fourth quarter but cut the deficit to four points in the final minute before Pittsfield was able to put the game away.
 
Garvey also pulled down 22 rebounds in the win.
 
Natasha Shade scored 11 and dished out seven assists, and Alexi Sondrini scored 10 for the Generals (6-3).
 
Brooke DiGennaro scored 20 to lead Drury, which got eight points from Hayley Shook and seven apiece from Alison Felix and MacKenzie Dobbert.
 
Drury (3-3) goes to Taconic on Thursday.
 
Pittsfield goes to Lee on Friday.
