Bramer Helps Taconic Girls Rally Past Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. -- Taea Bramer scored eight of her game-high 13 points in the decisive fourth quarter Monday as the Taconic girls basketball team defeated Wahconah, 40-35.
 
Taconic went into the final eight minutes trailing by two points but outscored its hosts, 14-7, down the stretch. Bramer hit four field goals, including a 3-pointer, in the final period.
 
Ahliya Phillips scored nine, and Johnahyah Curry scored eight for Taconic (2-0).
 
Maria Gamberoni led Wahconah with 12 points. Noelle Furlong contributed eight in the loss.
 
Wahconah (0-1) hosts Granby on Friday.
 
Taconic hosts Mount Greylock on Thursday.
