Steinman Scores 31 to Lead Pittsfield Girls Past Longmeadow

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Peyton Steinman scored 31 points and passed out six assists on Friday night to lead the Pittsfield girls basketball team to a 65-59 win over Longmeadow.

 

The Generals led by 13 going into the fourth quarter and held off a Longmeadow comeback bid to bounce back from their first loss and go to 2-1 on the season.

 

Steinman and Toni Satrape each had a team-high eight rebounds, and Bella Aitken scored 16 for Pittsfield.

 

The Generals host Bennington, Vt.’s, Mount Anthony Union on Wednesday.
