Steinman Lifts Pittsfield Girls to Road Win to Even Record

WOODSTOCK, Conn. -- Peyton Steinman scored 24 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and passed out 10 assists Tuesday to lead the Pittsfield High girls basketball team to a win over Ledyard, Conn., in the first round of the Centaur Classic at Woodstock Academy.
 
Four Generals finished in double figures as Pittsfield evened its record at 3-3 and moved into Thursday’s tournament final against host Woodstock.
 
Lachazity Shaver scored 11 points, and Bella Aitken and Toni Satrape added 10 apiece. Aitken and Taea Bramer each had three assists in the win.
