SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Emma Goewey scored 13 points Friday to lead the Mount Everett girls basketball team to a 40-30 win over Lenox.
 
Hudah Ngoy Nkulu scored 12, and Maggy Sarnacki added eight for the Eagles, who snapped a four-game losing streak.
 
"I was proud of the girls for playing a complete game tonight," Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. "We started out a little flat in the beginning but as the game progressed the girls continued to play well."
 
Mia Giardina scored 12 points for Lenox, which got six from Tabor Paul.
 
The Millionaires (1-4) host Frontier on Tuesday.
 
Mount Everett (2-5) hosts Pope Francis on Tuesday.
