Carpenter, Madison Ullrich Lead Mount Everett Girls over Lenox

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Gwendolyn Carpenter scored 25 points, and Madison Ullrich added 15 Friday to lead the Mount Everett girls basketball team to a 51-47 win over Lenox.
 
The Eagles jumped out to an early 14-6 lead and held off the Millionaires the rest of the way to even their record at 5-5.
 
Makenzie Ullrich hit a pair of second-half 3-pointers to finish with six points.
 
The Millionaires were led by Alice Najimy with 21 and Nicole Gamberoni with 16.
 
Lenox (4-10) hosts Mount Greylock on Monday.
 
Mount Everett goes to Lee on Monday.
