I thought our girls played hard and defended well. We just ran into a really good shooting team. I give them credit. We forced them to hit shots and that's what they did. If you had told me that we would hold Aiken and Garvey to 2 points in the 2nd half I would have assumed we would win the game.  But they had a lot of girls step up and hit shots when I felt like we were just about to go on a run.

Overall I thought our team did a good job at keeping our defensive intensity through out the entire game. It can get demoralizing to play good defense and then give up a long rebound or have a team hit a 3 at the end of a shot clock. I also think we had too many unforced turnovers that kept us from keeping the score closer then it should have been. As I said to the girls after the game, I don't think the scoreboard reflects how well I thought we played.
