PALMER, Mass. -- The Pathfinder girls basketball team on Friday went 5-for-8 at the foul line in overtime to hand McCann Tech a 30-25 loss in the Hornets’ season opener.

 

McCann got 12 points from Aimee Dowling and six from Emily Cellana.

 

The Hornets (0-1) held a narrow 9-8 lead in the defensive battle.

 

McCann Tech goes to Southwick on Tuesday.
