BARRE, Mass. -- Bella Aitken scored 13 points, and the Pittsfield girls basketball team held Quabbin to two first-quarter points en route to a 54-46 win in the Western Massachusetts Division 2 quarter-finals.

 

Taea Bramer scored nine, grabbed seven rebounds and passed out four assists, and Jordyn Lummus scored nine for the Generals.

 

Fifth-seeded Pittsfield (14-7) goes to Western New England University on Monday to play top-seeded Northampton (17-3), which had a bye into the semi-finals.
