TURNERS FALLS, Mass. -- Just three players scored, but they each hit double figures for the Mount Everett girls basketball team in Thursday's season-opening 43-36 loss to Franklin Tech at the Franklin Tech Tournament.

 

Emma Goewey led the way with 14 points. Madeline Von Ruden and Makenzie Ullrich added 12 and 10, respectively.

 

The Eagles (0-1) play in the tournament's consolation game on Friday afternoon.
