PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Abby Scialabba Monday scored 15 points to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to a 62-33 win over Taconic.

 

Ashlyn Lesure scored 14, and Gabby Billetz added 10 for the Hurricanes, who got nine points from Hanna Shea.

 

Hoosac Valley took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Thunder, 21-7, to take a 43-26 lead.

 

Brenna McNeice scored 11 points, and Ahna Balcom added 10 to lead Taconic.

 

The Thunder (5-12) learns this weekend who it will play in its last two regular season games next week.

 

Hoosac Valley (13-4) goes to Lee on Tuesday to finish the regular season.
