Pittsfield cruised to a 53-20 victory over cross-town rival Taconic behind a stout defensive effort.

The Generals (2-2) did not allow more than eight points in any quarter.

Jill Rotrosky (16 points) and Courtney McLaughlin (15points) led the scoring for Pittsfield.
