Free Video Editing Lessons Offered

NORTH ADAMS - Special Forces, a volunteer public access television group, is offering free editing lessons for those interested in helping out at Northern Berkshire Community Television Corp. The crew is trying to catch up on the huge backlog of community television shows. Special Forces is looking for help with editing, and for on-location work with cameras, in the control room, etc. Lessons are offered weekdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. by appointment only. SteepleCats Shut Out on Road

MONTPELIER, Vt. -- Four Vermont pitchers combined to strike out 11 and allow four hits Tuesday as the Mountaineers beat the North Adams SteepleCats, 11-0, in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.
 
Evan Meier, Bobby Stang, Tonny Woodie and Chris Diaz each had a hit for the SteepleCats, who used five pitchers in the loss.
 
North Adams (0-2) comes home Tuesday to host the Mystic Schooners at 6:30 p.m. at Joe Wolfe Field.
