MCLA Career Services To Host Graduate School Fair

The Career Services Center at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) will host its annual Graduate School Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Bowman Hall, in the first floor lobby. The event is open to anyone interested in pursuing graduate study. Graduate schools participating in this year’s fair include: Antioch University New England, Assumption College, Bay Path College, MCLA, Roger Williams University School of Law, Roger Williams University, Ross University, The Sage College, Simmons College, Simmons College of Library Science, Southern New Hampshire University, Springfield College, Suffolk University, Utica College, Westfield State College, Western New England School of Law, West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Green Mountain College, University of New Haven, University of Albany/State University of New York, Woodbury College and International University of Nursing. These institutions represent graduate study in biology, environmental science, special education, psychology, sociology and social work, criminal justice, health care administration, public administration, law, English, sports medicine, pre-med and veterinary medicine, business administration and accounting, library science, computer science, mediation and applied conflict studies. SteepleCats Shut Out on Road

MONTPELIER, Vt. -- Four Vermont pitchers combined to strike out 11 and allow four hits Tuesday as the Mountaineers beat the North Adams SteepleCats, 11-0, in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.
 
Evan Meier, Bobby Stang, Tonny Woodie and Chris Diaz each had a hit for the SteepleCats, who used five pitchers in the loss.
 
North Adams (0-2) comes home Tuesday to host the Mystic Schooners at 6:30 p.m. at Joe Wolfe Field.
