We are seeking submissions to nominate individual young people ages 11 to 19 for participating in positive activities, making healthy choices, and/or working hard. Submission may range from 50-500 words. Please include your contact information as well as the contact information of the youth and their guardian. Please look around and nominate a youth age 11-19 for positive activities, they will fell really good to be recognized! The S. A. Y. it Proud Youth Award (S.A.Y. stands for Support and Acknowledge Youth) is sponsored by the Northern Berkshire Youth Collaborative, a collaborative sponsored by the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition.

Youth are often not recognized when they do good things, as noted by youth themselves when surveyed in school. The Northern Berkshire Youth Collaborative believes that our community DOES value our youth – and we need you to step forward and nominate the positive youth that you know. Nominees chosen by the committee of the Youth Collaborative will be honored with a certificate during a public event this summer and will get recognized in a column in the North Adams Transcript.

Send submissions to S.A.Y. It Proud c/o Kathy Keeser at kkeeser@nbccoalition.org or mail to nbCC, 85 Main St. Suite 624, North Adams, MA 01247.
