BCC Recognizes Nursing Graduates
The 39th pinning ceremony for graduates of Berkshire Community College’s associate degree in nursing (ADN) program was celebrated Tuesday evening, May 27, in the College’s Robert Boland Theatre of the Koussevitzky Arts Center. Susan L. Earle, RN, Weekend Administrative Director from Berkshire Medical Center, and an alumni of the BCC Nursing Class of ’75, addressed the graduates.The ceremony, sponsored by BCC’s Student Nurse Organization, honored the following graduating students:

Attending her first ceremony as the new director of nursing was Elizabeth Kassel who is responsible for both the Associate Degree and Practical Nursing Programs at BCC; and brings to the position a strong background in preparing graduates for success on the national certification exam.
Eleven of the graduates are Berkshire Health System-supported employees and three graduates are Berkshire Healthcare-supported employees. In addition, five LPNs took advantage of the ability to enter the nursing program in the second year.
