Willams Chamber Players to Perform Bohemian Rhapsody
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Williams College Department of Music presents the Williams Chamber Players with Bohemian Rhapsody on Friday, Feb. 13, at 8 p.m. in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall on the Williams College campus. This free event is open to the public.This evening of “wildly Bohemian” music includes Henry Purcell’s “In guilty night” from Harmonia Sacra, Ileana Perez-Velazquez’s Wild Wisteria, Bohuslav Martinu’s Three Madrigals, and Bedrich Smetana’s Trio in G Minor, opus 15.
Musicians performing are Kerry Ryer-Parke, soprano; Keith Kibler, bass-baritone, Augusta Caso '09, mezzo-soprano, Nathaniel Parke, cello; Edwin Lawrence, harpsichord; Scott Woolweaver, viola, Anna Reinersmann, harp; Joana Genova, violin, Joanna Kurkowicz, violin; Yehuda Hanani, cello; and Doris Stevenson, piano.
