BCC Offers Career Development/Finance Workshops
GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. - Berkshire Community College will offer the following workshops at its South County Center in Great Barrington this summer. Unless noted otherwise, classes, taught by Joseph Furgal, meet Wednesday evening from 8 to 10.“Developing the Skills and Tools Needed to be a Trusted Advisor” (WKS 9178) teaches participants to build new, and hone existing, marketing and promotional skills to become a “trusted advisor” in business and relationships by listening, understanding and not responding. Class meets June 3. Cost for registration is $99.
“Understanding Buying Habits and Relationship Building Strategies” (WKS 9179) shows students how validation in marketing is critical for current and prospective clients to believe in them, their product or service, and their business organization. Class meets June 10. Cost for registration is $99.
“Building & Maintaining Marketing Relationships” (WKS 9181) covers building and maintaining profitable, long-term relationships with current and potential customers or clients. Class meets June 3 through June 17. Cost for registration is $250.
“Maintaining Client Relationships & Client Care” (WKS 9180) teaches how ongoing maintenance of relationships is the key to long-term, profitable relationships. Students will discover, build and sharpen their client care techniques and strategies. Class meets June 17. Cost for registration is $99.
“Rebuilding Your Nest Egg” (WKS 373), a new workshop, is a financial approach to rebalancing portfolios, assessing risk tolerance and taking advantage of incoming producing assets. Classes, taught by Mark De Celle, meet Wednesday evening, May 27 through June 10, from 5:30 to 7:30. Cost for registration is $59.
