BArT Students To Present Two Nights Of Improv Theater
Adams, Mass. - On Thursday, June 18th and Friday, June 19th, high school students from Berkshire Arts & Technology Charter Public School (BArT) will present two evenings of improvisational theater in which two teams will be pitted against each other to perform scenes built around audience suggestions. Both shows will begin at 5:30pm at Main Street Stage located at 57 Main Street in North Adams.Admission is free.
The students, part of BArT’s “Dyno-mite Improv Troupe,” have been working with visiting artist Alexia Trainor over the last 14 weeks to prepare the show. Trainor is a company member of Main Street Stage and an original member of the Royal Berkshire Improv Troupe. She is currently performing with Nutshell Playhouse, a theater for children.
