Financial Columnist Hosts Weekly Radio Show
PITTSFIELD, Mass. — iBerkshires columnist Bill Schmick now has an "@theMarket" radio show on local VOX Communications stations.The half-hour investment radio show airs every Friday and is hosted by Bill and Barbara Schmick of Berkshire Money Management, located in Pittsfield.
Schmick also writes financial columns for iBerkshires.com and some of the largest publications in the tri-state region. "This gives me an opportunity to enlarge on the subject matter of my columns, something many readers have asked me to do over the past few years," he said.
They will cover a wide range of topics including investing in world markets, local business trends and financial planning themes that affect you. Guests will include various mutual fund and exchange traded fund managers from around the nation and overseas as well as local business owners and regional leaders that they hope will give listeners some added clarity in this complex and confusing financial world.

This Friday's, Oct. 9, guest John Roque, managing director, WJB Capital Group, New York City, will talk about the stock market, where it's been and, more importantly, where it's going. Roque is one of the leading investment strategists on Wall Street. He's made many appearances on CNBC through the years and in Barron's, the weekly investment publication.
Schmick says, "I first met John when we worked together back in the late '90s at what was then Arnhold & S. Bleichroeder, where John was our top technical strategist. Today he hangs his hat at WJB Capital Group, an institutional stock broker, where he is a managing director."
