Imaging Open House

Spies on the Mount
Bascom Lodge atop Mount Greylock hosts JoAnne Spies at 6 on Wednesday, Oct. 21, accompanied by jazzy fiddler Vicky Richards. The entertainment is free and open to the public, but there is a fee and reservations required for the dinner to follow: 413-743-1591.
Island Comedy
Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts' fine and performing arts departmnt presents Elmer Rice's comedic drama "Two on an Island," on Wednesday, Oct. 21, through Saturday, Oct. 24, in the college's Venable Theatre. Performances are at 8 p.m.; reserve tickets by calling 413-662-5123.
Book Sale
The Friends of the North Adams Public Library hold its fall book sale Oct. 22 to Oct. 24 in the community room of Notre Dame Church on East Main Street from 9 to 5 each day. For information, call 413-662-3133. Other events sponsored by the library include the Tea and Talk discussion on Oct. 22 at 1 p.m.
Vadnais Lecture
Owens Corning Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer Frank O'Brien-Bernini will present the annual Elizabeth and Lawrence Vadnais Environmental Issues Lecture at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Thursday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. in the Sammer-Dennis Room of Murdock Hall on campus.
Farmer's Market

Halloween Reading
On Saturday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. in the Shipper's Office at Western Gateway Heritage State Park, Director Robert Campanile will present a dramatic reading of the "Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Free and open to the public. Call 413-663-6312 for information.
Williamstown Film Fest Benefit
For the third year, the Williamstown Film Festival will hold a benefit during its inaugural weekend. On Saturday, Oct. 24 , festivities begin with 5:30 pm dinner in Mezze's new catering space at 777 Cold Spring Road in Williamstown, followed by the New England premiere of Peter Callahan's film "Against the Current" at 8 p.m. in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art's Hunter Center. Halloween Party
St. John's Episcopal Church is hosting a Halloween party on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 2 to 4. The party will be held in the parish hall adjacent to the church and is being organized by Tammy LaValley and Debi Ciempa. Call 413-664-9656 or visit the Web site.
