Rwanda Savior

Bazaar

The Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of Northern Berkshire will hold its third annual bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 to 3 p.m. in its Community Room, 535 Curran Highway. Information: 413-664-4536.

Veterans Day

The Veterans Day parade on Wednesday, Nov. 11, begins at the American Legion at 10:30 a.m. It moves east on Main and north on Eagle Street to the Veterans Memorial where a ceremony will take place. Call the American Legion at 413-664-9004.


Story Time 

The children’s department at the North Adams Public Library presents programs such as pre-school story time (with a craft or activity) and toddler time. SteepleCats Shut Out on Road

MONTPELIER, Vt. -- Four Vermont pitchers combined to strike out 11 and allow four hits Tuesday as the Mountaineers beat the North Adams SteepleCats, 11-0, in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.
 
Evan Meier, Bobby Stang, Tonny Woodie and Chris Diaz each had a hit for the SteepleCats, who used five pitchers in the loss.
 
North Adams (0-2) comes home Tuesday to host the Mystic Schooners at 6:30 p.m. at Joe Wolfe Field.
