Zach has been diagnosed with a form of lymphoma called anaplastic large cell lymphoma. It is a rare form of blood cancer that most often appears in children, especially boys between the ages of 7 and 11.
The cancer is highly treatable and Zach is responding well but the road to recovery is long.
The dinner will be held from 5 to 8 at the Bounti-Fare Restaurant on Howland Avenue. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for seniors and children under 10. They can be purchased at C.T. Plunkett School, Val's variety, the Adams Police Department and the the Adams Fire District office. Tickets will also be available at the door as well as meals to go.
There also will be raffles for gift baskets, two raffles for 4th generation iPod Touches with accessories, and other items. For more information, contact Sgt. Rick Tarsa at the Adams Police Department.
