PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The staff of state Sen. Adam G. Hinds, D-Pittsfield, will host two community outreach events during September.

The senator's staff will be available to meet with constituents in the communities of Chester and Lanesborough for this month's staff office hours on Wednesday, Sept. 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Chester Town Hall, 15 Middlefield Road

Appointments are not necessary but can be booked in advance by calling the Pittsfield office at 413-344-4561 or the Williamsburg office at 413-768-2373. All residents of the senator's Berkshire, Hampshire, Franklin & Hampden Senate District are invited to participate in these sessions if they have an idea, question or comment about state government they wish to share, or if they require assistance from the senator's constituent services team. Everyone is welcome.

Last year the senator's district staff traveled to 19 towns and met with hundreds of local officials and residents in Buckland, Charlemont, Chesterfield, Egremont, Florida, Goshen, Hancock, Hawley, Huntington, New Ashford, Otis, Richmond, Sandisfield, Sheffield, Shelburne, Tyringham, Westhampton, Williamsburg, and Worthington.  So far in 2019, staff office hours have been held in Adams, Alford, Blandford, Cummington, Heath, Lee, Lenox, Middlefield, Monroe, New Marlborough, Peru, Plainfield, Rowe and Windsor, while Senator Hinds has participated in public forums in Huntington, Lenox, North Adams, Pittsfield and Westhampton.
