BArT Announces Fourth Quarter Honor Roll

ADAMS, Mass. — Berkshire Arts & Technology Charter Public School has announced the students who made honor roll for the fourth quarter of the 2017-18 school year.

Students who earned 80 percent or above in all of their classes received the distinction of "Honors." Students who earned 90 percent or above in all of their classes received the distinction of "High Honors."

Academic courses at BART are aligned with the Massachusetts State Curriculum Frameworks for the appropriate grade level and include all standards deemed necessary for a complete, college-preparatory, middle and high school education.

Students in grade six who earned high honors are: Addison Chen, Terra Lim, Joseph McGovern, Jonathan Nondo, Marissa Ostrowski, Julianna Salinovici and Hilary Walter.

Students in grade six who earned honors are: Abreyana Avila, Travis Boyd, Tiana Carver, Eva Cole, Ricardo Diaz, Gianna Fosty, Justina Lloyd, Lainey Loynes, Evan Poplaski, Mohammed Ridoy, Tristan Scholl, Meghan Schrade, Yavuz Yildiz and Alonna Ziarnik.

Students in grade seven who earned high honors are: Ivan Chen, Jack Cooper, Zy'Aira Cooper, Felee Davis, Cameron Durocher, Isaac Huberdeau, Matthew Lake, Viviana Lanphear, Matthew Lizzo, Jeremy Patterson, Christopher Sunn, Charlotte Weiskotten, Matthew Weiskotten and Anna Zheng.

Students in grade seven who earned honors are: River Alpi, Evonne Barnett, Daysha Bell, Huseyin Colak, Maia DiLego, Cassandra Durand, Isabella Hartley, Bethany Iffetayo, Benjamin Jowett, Matthew Lake, Julia LaSalle, Amelia Leasure, Daniel McGrory, Sawyer Moser, Breanna Noummano, Abigail Parker, Katrina Parslow, Layla Pedroza, Liliana Pisano, Ruby Pullaro Clark and Chloe Whitman.

Students in grade 11 who earned honors are: Madison Decelles, Jessica Doubiago, Macie Fitch, Ian Leasure, Darrel Lynch, Ayannah Sheerin and Hannah Stringer.

Students in grade 12 who earned high honors: are Kyle Brooks, Hayley Caufield, Ari Drayman, Caleb Duffy, Crystal Harrington, Heather Perkins, Harrison Todd and Jamie Vachula.

Senior Golf Series Returns in September

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Berkshire County Fall Senior Golf series returns in September with events on five consecutive Wednesdays starting Sept. 18.
 
It is the 22nd year of the series, which is a fund-raiser for junior golf in the county, and it is open to players aged 50 and up.
 
The series will feature two divisions for each event based on the combined ages of the playing partners.
 
Golfers play from the white tees (or equivalent) with participants 70 and over or who have a handicap of more than 9 able to play from the forward tees.
 
Gross and net prices will be available in each division.
 
The cost is $55 per event and includes a round of golf, food and prizes. Carts are available for an additional fee.
 
Golfers should call the pro shop at the course for that week's event no sooner than two weeks before the event to register.
