WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Annie Rush scored early in the third period to break a 1-1 tie and send the Williams College women's hockey team to a 2-1 win over St. Anselm on Wednesday night.
The Ephs (3-1) erased a one-goal deficit midway through the second period when Gabi Montembeault scored a power play goal.
Abby Brustad and Meghan Halloran set up Rush for her first goal of the season, the game-winner, in the 45th minute.
Marissa Anderson stopped 29 shots to earn the win.
Williams hosts Wesleyan on Friday evening.
