WALTHAM, Mass. -- Drury High student and Hoosac Valley boys lacrosse player Nate Haley had a hat trick on Tuesday to help the West team to a 16-6 win over the Metro in the Bay State Games boys lacrosse tournament.
Wahconah’s Ernie Lampron and Mount Greylock’s Mac Waynick each scored a goal in the win.
Wahconah’s Corey Bazonski contributed on defense, and Hoosac Valley’s Lucas Waterman played midfield for the West, which got faceoff and longstick midfield play from Mount Greylock’s Cole Filson.
The West has two games on Wednesday, playing the Northeast in the morning and the Southeast/Coastal team in the afternoon.
The bronze and gold medal games are scheduled for Thursday at Waltham’s Veterans Memorial Complex.
