SVMC Earns Highest Rating for
COVID-Specific Safety
 
 
After having announced the resumption of elective services last week, Southwestern Vermont Medical Center has earned the status of deficiency-free, the highest given, on a survey meant to determine ability to prevent transmission of COVID-19 and other infections to those visiting its hospital and clinics. 
 
A Touching Farewell
 
 
On Thursday afternoon, a COVID-19 patient who had spent many weeks recovering at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation, was able to return home. He gave a heartfelt speech of thanks to the large group of staff who had gathered to see him off.
