PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Free parking in the city will be extended through Friday, Jan. 1

As a reminder, parking in the city is always free in the evenings and weekends.

2021 Fishing Derby at Wild Acres

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The City of Pittsfield Conservation Commission, in conjunction with Lyon Aviation, will sponsor a free fishing derby for youth 14 and under Saturday, May 8 at the Wild Acres Conservation Area (rain or shine).
 
The derby will be held 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The accessible trail down to the pond is now open.
 
As there will be limited capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions, pre-registration is required and will end on Thursday, May 6. Participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note only one parent per child will be allowed.
