Pittsfield School Committee Seeking New Member

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Pittsfield Public School Committee is looking for a resident to fill out the remainder of Dennis Powell's term.
Powell resigned from the school committee earlier this month after the school committee appointed Joe Curtis as the new superintendent of schools.
The term expires at the end of December 2021.
The school committee asks that those interested send a brief description of your background and an explanation as to why they would be a good candidate to Rosemarie Blake, Administrative Assistant to the
Superintendent, 269 First Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 or rblake@pittsfield.net by Monday, May 3, 2021.
In accordance with the City Charter, the School Committee and the City Council will meet at a special joint session on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 6:00 P.M. to make the selection.
