Williams Men's Basketball Team Tops MCLA

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Cole Prowitt-Smith scored 22 points Tuesday to lead the Williams College men's basketball team to an 89-62 win over MCLA.
Taconic graduate Quentin Gittens scored 14 points to lead MCLA, which got seven rebounds apiece from Mamadou Diallo and Drury graduate Reece Racette.
MCLA (2-5) travels to Russell Sage next Tuesday.
Williams (4-0) hosts Worcester State next Thursday.
Women's Basketball
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Rachel Vinton and Sam Hourihan each scored 18 points to lead Springfield College (7-0) to a 64-59 win over Williams.
Maggie Meehan scored 15 points to lead Williams (2-4), which hosts Cabrini on Dec. 3.
SUNY Cobleskill 82, MCLA 35
COBLESKILL, N.Y. -- Four different players scored in double figures to lead SUNY Cobleskill (3-4).
Shannon Carney scored 10 to lead the Trailblazers (0-6), who host Wentworth on Monday.

Williams Women's Hockey, Basketball Earn Wins

CLINTON, N.Y. -- Chloe Heiting stopped 29 shots Friday to backstop the Williams College women's hockey team to a 4-1 victory over Hamilton.
Meghan Halloran, Maddie Tix, Brynn Puppe and Robin Kitazono each scored in the win.
Williams (2-2, 1-2 NESCAC) plays Hamilton again on Saturday afternoon.
