Stockbridge Grange to Host Community Dinner

STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — The Stockbridge Grange will host a community dinner on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025, featuring Swedish meatballs with egg noodles and vegetables. Dessert options include chocolate cream or lemon meringue pie.

The dinner is take-out only, with pickup available from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Stockbridge Grange Hall, located at 51 Church Street in Stockbridge. The cost is $15.00 per person.

Proceeds from the community dinners support non-profit projects and assist with the maintenance of the Grange Hall.

MassDOT: South County Bridge Painting

WEST STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing bridge painting operations on I-90 eastbound and westbound.

The work will take place from Tuesday, Feb. 18, through Friday, Feb. 21, during the following scheduled hours:

Becket 

  • Bridge painting will occur on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 18.4, utilizing lane closures, from Tuesday, February 18, through Friday, February 21, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.

West Stockbridge 

  • Bridge painting will be conducted on I-90 westbound at mile marker 1.3, utilizing lane closures, from Tuesday, February 18, through Friday, February 21, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. 

Drivers traveling through these areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. 

Appropriate signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work areas. 

All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
