LEE, Mass. – David Kirchner and Jason Sibley combined to allow just one hit Friday as the Lenox baseball team beat Lee, 6-0.

Kirchner struck out nine and walked two while giving up a hit in four innings to earn the win.

Sibley came on in relief, striking out three and allowing no walks in three innings of work.

The Millionaires broke a scoreless tie in the top of the fourth inning.

Robbie Bazinet led off with an infield single and moved into scoring position on Blake Hoff’s sacrifice bunt.

After Bazinet went to third on a pitch that got to the backstop, Tyler Giardina drove him in with a single to make it 1-0.

It was 2-0 until Lenox rallied for four in the top of the seventh to get some breathing room.

Bazinet and Giardina each had a pair of hits, and Kirchner and Jack Hicks each doubled in the win.

Lenox (8-9) learns this weekend who it will face in the quarter-finals of next week’s Western Massachusetts Class C Tournament.
