SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Michael Ullrich went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs Monday to lead the Mount Everett baseball team to an 8-3 win over Housatonic Valley Regional.

Heyden Cutlip earned the win on the mound, striking out five and allowing one earned run in 5 and two thirds innings of work.

Ullrich finished the game on the bump, striking out one and walking one in 1 and a third innings of scoreless relief.

“Good overall good game for us,” Mount Everett coach Dan Lanoue said. “But, we need to clean things up defensively. Five errors will not help in tournament play. “

J.J. Schneider doubled, and Matt Lowe went 2-for-4 in an 11-hit attack for the Eagles.

Mount Everett (8-7) hosts Drury on Wednesday.
