Drury Holds Off Lenox Late to Earn Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Hunter Marceau went 2-for-3 with an RBI Monday to lead the Drury baseball team to a 7-6 win over Lenox at Joe Wolfe Field.
 
The Millionaires rallied for four runs in the top of the seventh, but Drury’s Noah Arnold got a called third strike with two out to leave runners at the corners and save the game.
 
Connor Hinkell got the win for the Blue Devils, allowing two runs in six innings of work. Hinkell struck out nine and walked four.
 
Arnold surrendered four unearned runs before closing the door on Lenox.
 
Colby Malloy doubled and drove in a pair of runs for Drury.
 
Max Shepardson led Lenox’s offense with a pair of doubles and an RBI.
 
Lenox used three different pitchers in the loss. Jack Hicks, Jason Sibley and Seamus Cooney combined to allow just two earned runs in the loss.
 
The Millionaires (2-2) host Palmer on Wednesday.
 
Drury (4-3) goes to Lee on Tuesday.
