Bazinet Delivers Game-Winner as Lenox Wins on Road

NORTHFIELD, Mass. - Robbie Bazinet drove in Zack Nicotral in the top of the sixth to break a 3-3 tie and send the Lenox baseball team on to a 4-3 win over Pioneer Valley on Wednesday.
 
Nicotra reached base on a one-out single and moved up to second on Jack Hicks’ sacrifice bunt. Bazinet’s single to center field brought him home.
 
Bazinet went 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBIs to lead Lenox’s offense.
 
Nicotra was 3-for-3 and scored twice.
 
Max Shepardson went the distance on the mound, striking out five, walking one and allowing four hits.
 
Lenox (7-9) finishes the regular season at Lee on Thursday.
