Hoosac Valley Girls Down Granby

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Ashlyn Lesure had five goals and seven assists Monday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to a 19-10 win over Granby in a game played at Mount Greylock Regional School.
 
Jacinta Felix scored seven goals, and Emma Meczywor had three goals and three assists.
 
“I am really proud of our draws, back side cutters and our composure,” Hoosac Valley coach Molly West said. “Emma Meczywor controlled most of the draws, and Ashlyn Lesure and Jacinta Felix found success on the circle and then finishing inside the 8."
 
Cami Lovato and Kennedy Whitley split time in Hoosac Valley’s goal, combining to make 17 saves.
 
The Hurricanes (9-4) go to Chicopee Comprehensive on Tuesday.
