Defensive Stand-out: Hadley Cook

The Wildcats came out scoring quickly in the first half with a beutifully placed shot by Victoria Murphy. They then gave up a quick goal to set them back on their heels.  Playing fairly flat and defensive most of the first half, it was tough to see a smooth and consistant play.  At the half the score was tied at 2.  Half-time position changes were made.  The team responded.  Quickly the flow of the game turned to the Wilcats favor- with 3 quick shots on goal within the first 5 min.  Staying mostly in our offense, the team turned 3 goals in 10 min.  Steph Young converted on a corner kick from Moriah McKenna.  Moriah followed up with a goal from a pass made by freshman Kate Delsignor.  Freshman Sarah Winston took no time being initiated to the Varsity team when she made her first goal with 15 min. left in the game.
