GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Aubrey Blanchard scored twice and set up a goal Friday to lead the Monument Mountain girls soccer team to a 4-1 win over Athol in the first round of the Western Massachusetts Division 3 tournament.

 

Fiona Horan had a goal and an assist, and Maya Cooney scored a goal in the win. 

 

Olivia Ruggiero made three saves to earn the win in goal. 

 

The fourth-seeded Spartans (13-4-1) host the sectional quarter-finals against No. 5 Southwick (12-5-1) next week.
