LENOX, Mass. -- Mary Elliot scored three goals Thursday to lead the Lenox girls soccer team to a 3-0 win over Southwick.

 

Coach Brian Seminara credited Elliot’s fellow senior captains, Molly Knight and Aidan Burns, with anchoring the Millionaires defense and limiting the Rams to just two shots on keeper Ella Hall.

 

“It was great to see the ladies come out hard and respond to a tough game on Tuesday,” Seminara said, referencing Lenox’s 6-0 loss to Monson. “We're hoping to take this momentum into the weekend when we travel to Everett and beyond.”

 

Medeja Rudzinskaite, Knight and Jocelyn Fairfield each had an assist.

 

Lenox (3-2) is at Mount Everett on Saturday.
