Bay State Academy Boys Edge McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Desmond Ortiz scored 17 points Thursday to lead the Bay State Academy boys basketball team to a 57-51 win over McCann Tech.
 
Logan Tower scored 16, and Bruce Davis and Lukas Zelazo added 10 and 9, respectively, for the Hornets.
 
McCann Tech (4-3) hosts Westfield Tech on Friday.
