Did not take advantage of the situations that we had all day today. Left runners all over the baseball field. Just could not come up with the timely hit when we needed it. Made several mental errors and did not show the toughness both mentally and physically that we have recently. Taconic played a sound fundamental game and did what they needed to do to win the ballgame. We have to get over this quick, get on a bus for the rest of the week and try to salvage some wins this week. As I have said before, for some reason we played flat today. We need to get that chip back quick. Schuylar Robinson pitched better than the score and Jake Tatro came in and showed major grit and toughness in a tough relief situation. Compliments to Braves pitcher, McNiece, kept our hitters in check all day and didn't deviate from his plan. Compliments to Coach Stannard on a nice win and a well coached team. I have to do a better job motivating and getting our players mentally tougher as we have a tough stretch coming up.
