WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Cedric Rose threw a complete-game one-hitter Wednesday as the Taconic baseball team defeated Westfield, 6-1, at Bullens Field.

 

Rose struck out seven and walked five.

 

Brendan Stannard doubled in two runs in a six-run fourth inning as Taconic overcame a 1-0 deficit.

 

Christian Womble went 2-for-4, and Austin Rachiele, Ryan Gaudette, and Michael Kays each drove in a run.

 

Taconic (14-4) goes to Wahconah on Saturday.
