FALMOUTH, Mass. -- Falmouth’s Eli Harris hit an RBI single to center field in the bottom of the fifth to break a 1-1 tie and send his team to a 2-1 win over Pittsfield on Friday.

 

Ian Benoit went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI, and Joe Traversa and Ryan LaPierre each singled for the Generals.

 

Benoit went the distance on the mound, striking out three, walking one and allowing one earned run.

 

Pittsfield (1-3) stays on the Cape to visit Barnstable on Saturday.
