We had no idea what to expect from Pioneer seeing we have never played them before.  Well they came in bigger, faster and more talented than expected.  Pioneer is one of the most orginized teams we have faced this year.  They play the ball very clean and fast.  They were beating us to every ball in the air and on the ground. The first half goal was an unfortunate mistake that they capitalized on.  During half time we made some adjustments and it was a little more even on the field.  Unfortunately we let another unmarked player penetrate to score.  We were much more balanced in the middle of the field in the second half than first half but we just couldn't finish in the attacking third.  Pioneer is a very talented team and I felt good coming out of this game that we played competitive against a bigger, faster team.  I look forward to facing them again next week.
